During the 2013–2014 academic year, the University closely followed and properly implemented the Quality Assurance (QA) Plan established from the outset. In general, the units demonstrated a positive spirit toward this relatively new and challenging task and achieved several initial results, as follows:
- Self-Assessment of Academic Programs According to AUN-QA Standards
The faculties conducted self-assessments based on 7 out of the 15 standards of the AUN-QA framework, namely Standards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 10.

- Stakeholder Survey Activities
Nguyen Tat Thanh University issued Plan No. 116/KT-NTT dated December 6, 2013 regarding the organization of stakeholder surveys during the 2013–2014 academic year. Accordingly:
(1) The Academic Affairs Office issued Plan No. 04/KH-NTT dated January 13, 2014 concerning course-level and program-level surveys;
(2) The Center for Enterprise Relations and Student Support issued Plan No. 06/KT-NTT dated January 15, 2014 concerning surveys of graduates who had graduated for at least six months and employers regarding the quality of graduates.
Based on the survey results, the relevant units prepared and internally disseminated: (i) A consolidated survey results report; and (ii) data tables integrated specifically for each faculty and related units.

Updating the Higher Education Quality Status Report is a mandatory annual requirement under regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.
To provide the basis for preparing Part I: Higher Education Quality Database, during the 2013–2014 academic year the University issued Plan No. 102/KH-NTT dated October 15, 2013, requiring units to collect information and data. Participating units included:
– Organization and Human Resources Department;
– Academic Affairs Office;
– Science and Technology Department;
– Finance and Accounting Department;
– Equipment Administration Department;
– Construction and High-Rise Building Management Board;
– Dormitory Services and Management Company;
– Information and Library Center;
– Center for Enterprise Relations and Student Support.
- Implementation of the Quality Assurance Board Website
To support units, especially academic faculties, with resources related to quality assurance activities, the University invested in developing a dedicated website for this work from the beginning of the 2013–2014 academic year. All directives from the Rectorate, guidance documents, implementation instructions, reference materials, plans, announcements, invitations, and related documents were posted by the Quality Assurance Board on the website at: http://ntt.edu.vn/web_bandbcl.
