On behalf of NTTU, Dr. Tran Ai Cam, President, delivered a welcoming speech, providing a brief overview of the university’s quality assurance efforts and development. Dr. Cam noted that the university achieved its first institutional accreditation in late 2016 and was officially recognized in May 2017. For NTTU, quality is a journey; quality assurance has been a priority since its early days as a vocational training institution. This marks the university’s second re-accreditation under MoET Circular 12/2017/TT-BGDĐT. To prepare for this cycle, the university completed 100% of the improvements recommended by experts in the first round. The self-assessment process was initiated in January 2021 with six working groups covering Governance, Internationalization, Quality Assurance, Training, Scientific Research, and Students & Community Services, leading up to the official external assessment in May 2022.
