Nguyen Tat Thanh University Welcomes the External Assessment Team for the Preliminary Site Visit of Four Undergraduate Programmes: Economic Law, Chinese Language, Restaurant and Food Service Management, and Construction Engineering

NTTU – On the morning of October 8, 2021, at the An Phu Dong Campus, Nguyen Tat Thanh University welcomed the External Assessment Team from the Center for Education Accreditation, Vinh University, for a preliminary site visit in preparation for the official accreditation review of four bachelor’s degree programmes: Economic Law, Chinese Language, Construction Engineering, and Restaurant and Food Service Management.

The External Assessment Team consisted of 12 members, including Dr. Nguyen Kim Dung, Head of the Team; Dr. Tran Dinh Quang, Director of the Center for Education Accreditation, Vinh University, and Secretary of the External Assessment Team; and Dr. Truong Chi Hien, Team Member. Receiving and working with the delegation were Dr. Tran Ai Cam, Rector of the University; Dr. Ngo Duc Trung, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Construction and Applied Arts; Dr. Chu Hai Thanh, Dean of the Faculty of Law; Dr. Le Thi Kieu Van, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages; M.A. Phan Thi Ngan, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Vietnam Studies; M.A. Nguyen Huu Dang Quang, Deputy Head of the Quality Assurance Office; together with lecturers and staff from relevant units.

During the preliminary assessment visit, the External Assessment Team reviewed self-assessment reports, supporting documents, and evidence provided by the Faculties of Law, Foreign Languages, Architecture–Construction–Applied Arts, and Tourism and Vietnam Studies. In addition, the team conducted a tour of the University’s facilities, including faculty offices; classrooms and lecture halls; administrative offices and functional units; laboratories and practice rooms; the library, campus grounds, dormitories; sports facilities and training areas; and the University’s medical clinic.

The official site visit was scheduled to take place over five days, from October 29 to November 2, 2021. On the same day, Dr. Tran Ai Cam, Rector of the University, held a working session with the External Assessment Team to finalize the agenda for the official site visit and sign the Minutes of the Preliminary Site Visit.
