Closing Ceremony of the Official Site Visit for Programme Accreditation of the Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology

NTTU – After three days of serious, objective, and transparent work by the External Assessment Team, together with the efforts of faculty members, staff of the Faculty, and units across the University, and in order to evaluate and summarize the achievements attained throughout the assessment period, Nguyen Tat Thanh University held the Closing Ceremony of the Official Site Visit for the accreditation of the Bachelor’s programme in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology on the afternoon of June 21, 2019, at the An Phu Dong Campus.

Attending the closing ceremony, representatives of the External Assessment Team from the Center for Education Accreditation, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), included: Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Duc Anh Vu, Dr. Huynh Kha Tu, Associate Professor Dr. Le Van Hao, M.A. Ho Dac Hai Mien, Dr. Duong Ngoc Hao, Associate Professor Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam, and Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tam. Representing Nguyen Tat Thanh University were Dr. Tran Ai Cam, Permanent Vice Rector; Dr. Pham Tuan Anh, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and Automotive Engineering, together with heads and deputy heads of offices, departments, faculties, and centers.

On behalf of the External Assessment Team from the Center for Education Accreditation, VNU-HCM, Associate Professor Dr. Dinh Duc Anh Vu presented the preliminary findings of the official accreditation site visit for the Bachelor’s programme in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology at Nguyen Tat Thanh University. He expressed his appreciation to the Board of Trustees, the University Management Board, the Faculty of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and Automotive Engineering, as well as staff members from various offices and departments and the students for creating favorable conditions that enabled the External Assessment Team to carry out its work effectively.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Dr. Tran Ai Cam expressed her sincere appreciation to the External Assessment Team for dedicating their time, effort, expertise, and enthusiasm to conducting an objective and impartial evaluation of the University’s Bachelor’s programme in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology. The important and meaningful observations and recommendations presented by the External Assessment Team will serve as motivation for the University and the Faculty of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic and Automotive Engineering to further improve the quality of education, scientific research, community service, and other activities. These efforts will provide a solid foundation and momentum for the continued development of the Faculty in line with the University’s expectations.

To acknowledge the outcomes achieved during the three-day official accreditation visit for the Bachelor’s programme in Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology, Nguyen Tat Thanh University and the External Assessment Team signed the Minutes of Completion of the Official Site Visit. This milestone marks the second faculty at Nguyen Tat Thanh University to undergo an official programme accreditation assessment at the bachelor’s level. It also provides a model for other faculties within the University to learn from and to prepare the necessary conditions for future programme evaluations, thereby ensuring and enhancing educational quality.
