How do we approach quality assurance?

The University’s quality assurance system is built on a learner-centred orientation, continuous improvement, and the shared responsibility of all units across the institution.

Quality as fitness for purpose

Quality is understood through the University’s capacity to meet the expectations and requirements of stakeholders, including learners, lecturers, the University, employers, alumni, professional associations, and society.

Quality as a process

The University implements multiple successive PDCA cycles. The results of one cycle serve as input data for the next, supporting continuous improvement and the achievement of higher quality objectives.

Quality as shared responsibility

All units participate in the University’s total quality management system, from policy formulation and process development to implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and improvement.

The three-level internal quality assurance system

Level 1

Strategic level

The Board of Presidents and the Educational Quality Assurance Council provide strategic direction for quality assurance policies, quality objectives, and institutional regulations across the University.

Level 3

Implementation level

Quality Assurance Teams at faculties and training-support units coordinate implementation, collect evidence, provide data-based feedback, and carry out improvement activities at the unit level.
