On April 4, 2025, as part of the ACCEES Project – Advancing the Digital Technology Ecosystem in Higher Education in Vietnam, Nguyen Tat Thanh University welcomed a delegation of experts from European universities and the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) for a site visit to assess the University’s digital transformation status. This activity followed the ACCEES Kick-off Meeting and aimed to collect information for developing recommendations to support the digital transformation strategies of Vietnamese universities.
The assessment delegation included experts from the University of Strasbourg (France), the University of Mons (Belgium), and AUF. The working session was attended by Dr. Nguyen Tan Dai, Secretary of the ACCEES Project, together with the University’s Executive Board and representatives of its functional units.

During the visit, the experts focused discussions on four key aspects of the University’s digital transformation strategy: the sustainability of technological solutions; measuring the impact of digital transformation on teaching, research, and the student experience; the scalability and interoperability of technology systems; and strategies for developing the digital competencies of faculty, staff, and students.
Through a series of in-depth discussions, the expert delegation gained insights into the University’s development orientation, governance model, technological infrastructure, and digital transformation initiatives. The University also had the opportunity to share its achievements, practical experience, and the challenges encountered throughout its digital transformation journey.
The assessment delegation from European universities (France and Belgium) met with representatives from all relevant departments of Nguyen Tat Thanh University during the assessment session on April 4, 2025.
According to the ACCEES Project plan, the information collected during the assessment will serve as the basis for the experts to prepare an evaluation report and provide recommendations to support Nguyen Tat Thanh University in further refining its digital transformation strategy. These topics will also continue to be discussed through future project meetings and study activities among the European partners.
Speaking at the meeting, Dr. Tran Ai Cam, President of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, stated that the ACCEES Project provides the University with an opportunity to gain international experience and learn from advanced digital transformation models. The experts’ insights and recommendations will serve as valuable references as the University continues to improve its digital transformation strategy in line with its development goals and practical context.

The assessment took place in an open and constructive atmosphere, with the expert delegation expressing appreciation for the University’s digital transformation efforts. The activity not only contributed to the effective implementation of the ACCEES Project but also created new opportunities for international cooperation, knowledge sharing, and the development of digital solutions in higher education.
