NTTU \u2013 On the morning of May 28, 2019, at the An Phu Dong Campus, Nguyen Tat Thanh University welcomed the External Evaluation Team from the Center for Education Quality Accreditation, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) and held the Opening Ceremony of the official program-level quality accreditation survey for the Bachelor\u2019s program in Hospitality Management.<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

Participants in the evaluation included: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Sinh, Head of the Faculty of Library and Information Science, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU-HCM \u2013 Head of the External Evaluation Team; MSc. Ho Dac Hai Mien, Deputy Director of the Center for Education Quality Accreditation, VNU-HCM \u2013 Secretary; MSc. Duong Hoang Kiet, Deputy Director of the Quality Management Center, Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry \u2013 Permanent Member; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ba Hoang, Vice President of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport \u2013 Member; MSc. Trinh Thi My Hien, Head of Inspection \u2013 Legal Affairs \u2013 Quality Assurance Office, University of Information Technology, VNU-HCM \u2013 Member; Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Tam, Specialist at the Center for Education Quality Accreditation, VNU-HCM \u2013 Academic Secretary; and Dr. To Van Phuong, Head of Undergraduate Training Office, Nha Trang University \u2013 Observer.<\/span><\/p>\n

Representing Nguyen Tat Thanh University were Dr. Tran Ai Cam, Standing Vice President; MSc. Phan Thi Ngan, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Vietnam Studies; along with faculty leaders and representatives of relevant departments and units.<\/span><\/p>\n

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Tran Ai Cam on behalf of the Board of Trustees and University Leadership warmly welcomed the External Evaluation Team from the Center for Education Quality Accreditation, VNU-HCM. In her speech, she reported on the achievements of the University since its establishment, highlighting the continuous efforts and dedication of the teaching staff and students.<\/span><\/p>\n

She also presented the developments of the University and the Faculty of Tourism and Vietnam Studies in 2019, with the goal of improving and enhancing the quality of training programs, teaching, scientific research, and community service, thereby better meeting learners\u2019 needs and, more broadly, the demands of society.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the ceremony, MSc. Phan Thi Ngan, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Vietnam Studies, provided an overview of the Faculty. She highlighted the achievements over its six years of establishment and development. Although still relatively young, the Faculty has achieved notable accomplishments, which serve as a strong foundation for continuing to improve training quality, research activities, and strengthening its position in the \u201csmokeless industry\u201d (tourism sector).<\/span><\/p>\n

This evaluation activity is conducted in accordance with Circular 04 of the Ministry of Education and Training and reported to the Department of Education Quality Management. The official external accreditation of the Bachelor\u2019s program in Hospitality Management serves as a basis for the University to further improve program quality, meet learner expectations, and respond to labor market demands.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over the three-day period from May 28 to May 30, 2019, the External Evaluation Team will review documentation and evidence, conduct interviews with faculty leadership, program heads, faculty councils, lecturers, students, alumni, employers, and support units across the University, as well as conduct facility inspections.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
