In implementation of the Quality Assurance (QA) Plan for Academic Year 2014\u20132015 of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, the University conducted a review of activities carried out under the approved plan, including the following contents:
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Programme Self-Assessment According to AUN Standards<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    During the 2014\u20132015 academic year, the University implemented a comprehensive plan for the collection and development of Information and Evidence Portfolios and the preparation of Programme Self-Assessment Reports according to AUN standards for 11 faculties, including:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Basic Sciences<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Accounting and Auditing<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Finance and Banking<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Business Administration<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Agricultural Science and Biotechnology<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Chemical and Food Technology<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Construction Engineering<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Foreign Languages<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Medicine<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Information Technology<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Pharmacy<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      To support faculties in collecting and compiling Information and Evidence Portfolios, including the development of AUN-required core documents, the Quality Assurance Board drafted a common Self-Assessment Report template for programme-level accreditation. This document was circulated for comments from the Academic Affairs Office and participating faculties and was subsequently approved for official implementation.<\/span><\/p>\n

      In addition, to further support faculties undertaking self-assessment, academic support units updated Version 2 of the Self-Assessment Report (2015) and provided supplementary data to nine faculties.<\/span><\/p>\n

      1. Institutional Self-Assessment According to the Ministry of Education and Training’s University Accreditation Standards<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        In implementation of Official Letter No. 979\/BGD\u0110T-KTK\u0110CLGD dated March 3, 2015, regarding quality assurance and accreditation activities for higher education institutions and professional secondary schools in 2015 and 2016, Nguyen Tat Thanh University commenced institutional self-assessment according to the University Accreditation Standards, consisting of 61 criteria under 10 standards within one accreditation cycle.<\/span><\/p>\n

        Specific activities included:<\/span><\/p>\n

          \n
        • June 15, 2015:<\/b> University leadership met to determine the objectives, scope, and timeline of the self-assessment process, as well as the membership of the Self-Assessment Council, Secretariat, and specialized working groups.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
        • June 26, 2015:<\/b> The Self-Assessment Council, Secretariat, and specialized working groups convened to announce:<\/span><\/span>\n
            \n
          • Decision No. 201\/Q\u0110-NTT dated June 23, 2015, on the establishment of the Self-Assessment Council;<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Decision No. 202\/Q\u0110-NTT dated June 23, 2015, on the establishment of the Secretariat and specialized working groups.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n
          • The meeting also disseminated the objectives and rationale of the self-assessment process, implemented Plan No. 50\/KH-NTT dated June 23, 2015, and discussed and assigned specific responsibilities.<\/span><\/li>\n
          • October 1, 2015:<\/b> Specialized working groups submitted their assigned sections of Version 1 of the Institutional Self-Assessment Report.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
          • According to the implementation plan, Version 1 of the Nguyen Tat Thanh University Institutional Self-Assessment Report (2016) was scheduled for internal dissemination in early February 2016.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
              \n
            1. Stakeholder Surveys<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              At the beginning of the 2014\u20132015 academic year, the University issued Plan No. 99\/KH-NTT dated November 11, 2014, regarding stakeholder surveys.<\/span><\/p>\n

              Accordingly:<\/span><\/p>\n

                \n
              • The Center for Enterprise Relations and Student Support issued Plan No. 08\/KH-NTT dated January 22, 2015, on surveys of graduates and employers.<\/span><\/li>\n
              • The Academic Affairs Office issued Plan No. 13\/KH-NTT dated February 6, 2015, regarding course evaluations and end-of-programme surveys.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
                  \n
                1. Collection of Information and Data and Updating the 2014 Higher Education Quality Status Report<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  The updating of information and data for the Higher Education Quality Status Report is a mandatory annual requirement stipulated by the Ministry of Education and Training.<\/span><\/p>\n

                  To provide the basis for preparing this report\u2014which also serves as the Educational Quality Accreditation Database used in various versions of the University’s Self-Assessment Reports\u2014the University issued Plan No. 100\/KH-NTT dated November 11, 2014, requesting all units to organize the collection of relevant information and data.<\/span><\/p>\n
