This included five undergraduate programs: Piano, Public Relations, E-commerce, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Medicine; and three Master\u2019s programs: Economic Law, English Language, and Drug quality control and Toxicology. The assessment was conducted by the Center for Education Quality Accreditation \u2013 Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (CEA-VNUHCM).<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 90%;\">Operating on the principles of objectivity, transparency, quality, and professionalism, the external assessment team engaged in various professional activities. These included interviews with stakeholders such as students, faculty leadership, department heads, the Science and Training Council, alumni, support staff, lecturers, employers, and department managers. The team also conducted thorough document reviews, evidence audits, classroom observations, and inspections of facilities and working, teaching, and research environments. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Van Thuyen \u2013 former Chairman of the University Council of HCM City University of Technology and Education and head of the assessment sub-team \u2013 emphasized NTTU\u2019s strong collaboration with enterprises. The involvement of businesses and entrepreneurs in the curriculum not only meets the &#8220;practical&#8221; requirements of education but also enriches the programs, allowing students early exposure to real-world practices. Furthermore, NTTU\u2019s vision of becoming an innovative university has been materialized through specific strategies and activities, including the integration of four core modules on Science, Innovation, and Specialized Technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 90%;\">Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Van Thuyen also highly commended the Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) system. The university has effectively ensured program quality by measuring the achievement of Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) and Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs). Efforts in faculty training for outcome-based curriculum development and the standardization of service quality assessment through feedback mechanisms were also praised. Additionally, NTTU has implemented strong policies to attract high-quality human resources and adopted performance-based management.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 90%;\">While acknowledging these strengths, the assessment team provided several recommendations to help the University refine its governance, curriculum design, and learning outcomes, as well as to further tailor facilities to the specific needs of each discipline.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400; font-size: 90%;\">Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam, Director of CEA-VNUHCM, confirmed that all eight programs initially met the 11 standards of Circular 04\/2016. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam confirms that the eight programs evaluated initially meet the 11 standards regulated by Circular 04 of the MoET.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 90%;\">Notably, among the eight programs, the Bachelor of Piano and the Master of Drug quality control and Toxicology are the first two programs of their kind in Vietnam to undergo quality accreditation.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 90%;\">On behalf of the University Council and Board of Management, Dr. Tran Ai Cam, President of NTTU, expressed profound gratitude for the insightful recommendations provided by the assessment team. Since 2023, the University has conducted internal assessments as a foundation for official accreditation. In 2024, NTTU updated its Internal Assessment Regulations based on Institutional Standards under Circular 01\/2024\/TT-BGD\u0110T. Looking ahead, the University will continue to update its internal standards to remain compliant with the upcoming requirements of Circular 04\/2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ntt.edu.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/NTTU-125-scaled.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 90%;\">To date, NTTU has completed over 50 domestic and regional program accreditations, with several programs entering their second cycle. The University also maintains institutional accreditation (Cycle 2) under Circular 12\/2017 with a 97% compliance rate and holds 11 UPM star-rated programs.
