NTTU \u2013 Recently, Nguyen Tat Thanh University (NTTU) collaborated with the Thang Long Centre for Education Quality Accreditation (CEA-Thang Long) to host the closing ceremony for the official external assessment of four training programs. These included the Bachelor of Human Resource Management, and the Master\u2019s programs in Tourism, Business Administration, and Finance and Banking.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Phi Thi Nguyet Thanh \u2013 Deputy Director of CEA-Thang Long and Standing Member of the Assessment Team. Representing the External Assessment Team were Prof. Dr. Dang Ung Van \u2013 Former Chief of Office of the National Council for Education, Government Office, and Former President of Hoa Binh University \u2013 serving as the Team Leader, along with other team members. On behalf of NTTU, Dr. Tran Ai Cam \u2013 President, along with the Board of Management, supporting departments, and the leadership, faculty, and staff of the four assessed programs, were in attendance.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the site visit from October 8 to October 12, 2022, the External Assessment Team conducted a comprehensive review of all dossiers and evidence. The experts also observed specialized training software and inspected the Library, classrooms, faculty offices, laboratories, medical rooms, sports areas, cafeterias, and other facilities. Furthermore, they conducted direct interviews with various stakeholders, including faculty leadership, department heads, lecturers, staff from supporting units, students, alumni, and employers.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the ceremony, representatives of the assessment team presented the preliminary results of the visit. They highlighted the university’s strengths, such as its modern infrastructure and equipment, the quality of its faculty (including entrepreneur-lecturers) and staff, effective teaching and learning approaches, progress monitoring systems, and student counseling and support services. Simultaneously, the team identified areas for improvement and provided valuable recommendations regarding curriculum development and student assessment methods.<\/span><\/p>\n

Representing CEA-Thang Long, Dr. Phi Thi Nguyet Thanh expressed gratitude to the university for its comprehensive and timely support. The assessment team expressed hope that the official visit results would assist the university and its faculties in developing specific, feasible solutions tailored to reality, while establishing long-term plans for the continuous enhancement of the university’s operations.<\/span><\/p>\n

On behalf of NTTU, President Tran Ai Cam thanked CEA-Thang Long and the experts for their dedication and objective evaluation of the programs. \u201cCurrently, the university has completed key tasks identified in the improvement plan following recommendations from the institutional external assessment and is reviewing its Development Strategy for the 2020\u20132025 period. We are implementing several key initiatives, including the operation of training programs based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE), measuring Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs), and reviewing syllabi and textbooks. We also emphasize enhancing scientific research for Master\u2019s students, pursuing strategic QA goals regarding internal assessment, and executing the Digital Transformation Project for both governance and training,\u201d Dr. Cam added.<\/span><\/p>\n

To conclude the ceremony, Dr. Phi Thi Nguyet Thanh, Prof. Dr. Dang Ung Van, and Dr. Tran Ai Cam represented the three parties in signing the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) marking the completion of the official visit.<\/span><\/p>\n
